MANAGER VENTS FURY AT POINTS DROPPED
Player-Manager, Eric O’Reilly vented his fury on his sides abysmal performance in the second half away to S & F United in the Super League on Sunday 6th.
Iorras were in front on 30 minutes with a move that started with Anthony Mills providing a pass to Shane Nallan who produced a great cross as Garth O’ Malley headed home from close range. Iorras had the better half of possession but the balance in the side was effected with an injury to Pat Barrett, early in the first half. It stayed at 1-nil going into the break. But in the second half poor defending by Iorras gifted S & F two goals on 17 and 22 minutes into the half. Iorras were awarded a penalty on 85 minutes which Shane Nallan converted. It was a great opportunity to go top in the Division which they failed to seize.
Iorras (B) were away to Crossmolina in the Premier Division and secured the three points with a goal in each half from John Noel Flannary (0-2).
