Second half display secures vital points in promotion push.
Iorras Aontaithe B continued their relentless promotion push in Division one at home to Ballina United on Sunday 7th September with three second half goals one from Garth O’Malley, a header on 63 minutes and two well finished goals on 68 and 76 minutes by Steven Carolan. This win puts them one point ahead of Partry Athletic and top of Division one going into their last game away to Achill Rovers on the 21st September. In the first half Iorras Aontaithe B were very lucky not to be finishing the half 3 goals down with sloppy defending, and poor marking. But after a severe tongue lashing, by their Manager Micheal S Togher, which left the home dressing needing a make-over, the second half display was much better. Click on the video clip for the managers reaction.
