Iorras Aontaithe had mixed fortune in their league outings this weekend. Iorras Aontaithe were at home to Kilmore United in the Super League on Saturday evening 11th and secured the three points with the only goal of the game with a Brendan Nallan free kick on 40 minutes from the edge of the area. The game was devoid of pretty football and was played in a strong cross wind and heavy rain. Then on Sunday 12th Iorras Aontaithe (B) were away to Castlebar Celtic (B) in the Primer Division and were beaten 3-0.

IORRAS AONTAITHE (B) IN TUOHY CUP FINAL
Iorras Aontaithe (B) booked their place in the Tuohy Cup final in Milebush Park, Castlebar on Sunday 26th July against Claremorris away to Crossmolina on Thursday evening the 9th winning in extra time 3-0 after the game ended 3-3. Stephen Nallan, Harry Reilly and Colin Stewart scored for Iorras in the second half and in extra time Jimmy Tighe, Harry Reilly and Robert Carey, scoring his first goal for the club sence he joined from Bangor Hib’s. It is another cup final for Iorras (B) and Manager, Micheal S Togher. Final Score, Crossmolina 3 Iorras Aontaithe 6 after extra time. Well done to everyone and good luck in the final.

CUP SEMI-FINAL & LOCAL DERBY
This Thursday evening the 9th July has Iorras Aontaithe (B) away to Crossmolina in the Semi-Final of the Tuohy Cup, and with their present good form in the Premier Division, Manager, Micheal S. Togher will be hoping for a positive result.
On this Saturday the 11th July in the Super League Iorras Aontaithe go up against divisional rivals Kilmore United in a local derby clash, with kick off at 6.30pm. This will be the first time these two sides have met sence Kilmore were promoted to the Super League and it has the making of an intertaining clash.
On Sunday 12th July Iorras (B) are away to Castlebar Celtic (B) in the Premier Division.

THREE POINTS EACH FOR A & B
Iorras Aontaithe (B) secured three points in their league encounter on Saturday evening 4th July at home to Ballinrobe in the Premier Division, two goals from John Noel Flannary, in the first half, and one each from Harry Reilly and Colin Stewart had Manager, Micheal S. Togher singing a happy tune. On Sunday 5th July Iorras Aontaithe (A) gave Fahy Rovers a merry dance at home in the Super league with a 7 goal drubbing with scores from Garth O’Malley (2) Shane Nallen (3), of which one was from the penalty spot, and one each from Eamon McAndrew and Micky Togher. The final scores in both games was 4-2 and 7-2. Rock on boys.

HOME & AWAY FOR IORRAS
On Thursday evening 25th Iorras Aontaithe (B) face Crossmolina, at home, in the Premier Division with KO at 7pm. Result- Iorras 3 Crossmolina 1. Iorras were 2-nil up at half time thanks to goals from Jimmy Tighe and Tom McAndrew. When play resumed Crossmolina pulled one back but Garth O’Malley secured the points on 73 minutes with the final score, 3-1 to Iorras Aontaithe (B).
On Sunday 28th Iorras Aontaithe (A) face Ballina Town, away, in the Super League with KO at 12.00.
Also on Sunday 28th Iorras Aontaithe (B) are away to Swinford in the League with KO at 2.30pm. C.S. Iorras Aontaithe will welcome league and cup champions, Bohemians F.C. on Friday Evening 26th with KO at 7.00pm, part of the Clubs 25th celebrations.
