Top of the table Ballina Town came to Carne Nash on Tuesday night expecting to give bottom of the table Erris an awful hammering. They got a fright. Ballina started well and quickly went 2-0 up. Erris roused themselves and Matthew Walsh instigated a shoot on sight policy to get a goal back. Owen McHale chipped the goalkeeper to bring the scores level and as Ballina were buckling Erris went for the kill.
