Congratulations to the award winners from the club at the Mayo league dinner. The (B) Team in Premier Division (B) and also their Mid Table finish, thanks to the Players and Management. The Over 35, Masters Side on winning the Masters league and their good run in the Cup competition. Their current league form is setting the pace and hopefully there will be smiles at the end of the season, thanks to Management and Players.  In Youth football it’s been uneventful year, but saying that, all youth sides finished in a respectable position in their Divisions and preformed adequately in all cup competitions, well done to all the Managers’ and Coaching members.

The Iorras Masters, a great season

Great credit goes to everyone at youth level, from the Parents, to Youth members themselves.  It was stated in the News recently that the level of volunteering from a National prospective is increasing; let’s hope that some of that volunteering spirit will come the way of the club, because more help is badly needed at Youth level in the Club, so if someone out there can spare a few hours in the week, it would be very welcomed.

Thanks to all the Club Sponsors for their continuing support, to the Erris Community and the public at large for supporting the Club fundraising efforts over the year. Thanks to all the Club members for their help and input into all of the Club fundraising ventures over the year. Thanks to the Eamon and Geraldine Padden, Management and Staff of the Broadhaven Bay Hotel for providing a room for the Club meetings over the year and also to Martin McIntyre, Clann Lir.

The Club will be unveiling its all new strip for the coming season shortly, home and away with a new design and new supplier, looking forward to that.

Thanks to all the Club Officers and Committee members for their help and assistants over the year, each and everyone a big thank you. A special word of thanks to Mary Teresa Barrett, Child Protection Officer for her role during the year

In 2011 the Club finally put in place the long awaited Astro Turf plus the storage shed.

Many thanks to everyone for their help and input for making this facility a reality. To Ronan Murray who is a shining example to all Young people in the Club and the Erris Community.

The New Astro-Turf facility is bringing great benefits to the club.

To Colin and Ger Teahon of P.S.T. Sports. To Shell, through the Corrib Natural Gas Local Grants Programmes, Erris Development fund.  The Corick fund, Community & Integrated Development,  To the E.S.B. for all their efforts and also to the Youths Officer, Eric O’Reilly for monitoring the projects progress.  The Club Treasurer, Paul Reilly gave a satisfactory report on the clubs financial position, keeping in mind the rising cost of running all the teams plus combining ongoing development at the club ground.  The cost of Match Officials, for senior home games (300Euro) is still a bone of contention and will be highlighted again at the Mayo league AGM in February.
