Iorras Aontaithe over 35 had to settle for a draw in their top of the table clash with Fahy Rovers in the Masters League, at a very wind and and rain swiped Milebush Astro on Wednesday night the 9th March.
In the opening exchanges Erris Keeper, Des Hefferon made a great save to deny Fahy the lead. Eric O’Reilly had Iorras in front 15 minutes into the half with a good effort and his goal separated the sides at half time at 1-0. Shortly into the second half, Fahy Rovers were back level, but Eric O’Reilly had Iorras in front again six minutes later with a great finish, Eric added his third after getting a headed flick to a Martin McIntyre shot, but in the last ten minutes, indecisive defending by Iorras, gifted Fahy Rovers a share of the points when they scored two goals to end the game at 3-3. Erris are still leading the pack and still have lots to play for going into their final game against Partry Athletic on Wednesday 23rd.

Young ones today! Great servants to the club in the autumn of their years putting their lives on the line in the name of Erris United and all they get is young bucks taking the piss out of them. Looking forward to seeing what shape these young bucks will be in by the time they are Over 35’s.
