Iorras Aontaithe over 35 got their season off to a flying start at rain soaked Milebush Park Astro on Wednesday night 17th November comprehensibly beating Partry Athletic 6-2 in the Masters League.
Five of the goals coming from, back in form, Eric O’Reilly two of them coming in the first half and the other goal from Michael John Nallan. It was 3-1 going in at the break. But when play resumed Partry reduced the margin to 3-2 but Iorras continued their good play, and despite having a player unfairly red carded, Iorras ran out comfortable winners in the end. This was a very good start under new Manager, Martin McIntyre who was very happy with the performance.
Next Wednesday night the 24th November Erris United 0ver 35 will take on S.&F. United at 8.00pm
