There was goals from Anthony Mills, 12th and 88th minute and one each from Sean Gaughan on 15 minutes and Ivan Barrett 75th minute. The Manager, Michael S. Togher praised his Player panel over the season and said everyone is looking forward to the Cup Competitions ahead. One note of interest, Henry Gaughan made his debut between the sticks, with an excellent showing in the second half, when Ballyheane probed the Iorras rear guard for an opening

Iorras Aontaithe U18 were playing in the second round of the Connaught Cup against Ballyheane, around the same time, but unfortunately they were defeated 3-2 with the Iorras goals coming from Paul Barrett (Penalty) and Tommy Conroy
