The Iorras Aontaithe/Erris United awards for the 2009 season were presented on Saturday Evening 7th in the Broadhaven Bay Hotel. The Club Chairman, Tom Reilly welcomed everyone and congratulated all the winners. He thanked McNulty Transport for sponsoring the awards and their continuing support of the club plus all the other sponsors for their continuing support. He welcomed the Club Vice-President, Patrick Conway from Durham and Sunderland F.C. who presented the awards and the M.C. was Des O’Connor, Youth Coach.

U18 P.O.Y.- Sean Gaughan. (B) Team P.O.Y.-Stephen Nallan. (A) Team P.O.Y.- Liam Donahue. Over 35 P.O.Y.- Michael John Nallan. Young Player of the year- Michael T. Togher.The Golden Boot Awards were, U11-Ryan O’Donahue. U12- Dillon Dixon. U13- Kyle O’Reilly. U14- Kyle O’Reilly. U16- Vincent Sweeney. U18- Tom McAndrew. (B) Team- John Noel Flannary.
