IORRAS YOUTH, STILL AT THE TOP

Iorras Aontaithe U18 maintained their position at the top of Section (A) of the Mayo Schoolboys/Girls and youths with a very good win at home over second placed side, Kiltimagh/Knock on Wednesday evening 28th July, final score 7-2.

Iorras were 3-0 up at half time thanks to John Coyle in the first minute and 21st minute and Tom McAndrew in the 44th minute.  Two minutes in to the second half Sub Vincent Sweeney got on the score sheet with further goals from Sub, Michael O’Donnell in the 70th and 74th minute with Jason Boylan scoring on 81 minutes.   The visitors scored in the 50th, Oisin Moran and 79th minute, Joe Joe Glenn.

The Iorras Aontaithe U16 side were away to Ballyheane on Monday Evening 26th and, unfortunately they lost to a very late goal, final score 4-3. The Erris goals were scored by Paul Barrett, Cathal Barrett and Tommy Conroy. They still remain at the top of their division.
