5 GOALS AT WIND SWEPT CARNENASH

Iorras Aontaithe breezed pass Conn Rangers in the second round of the F.A.I Junior Cup at a very windy and blustery Carnenash Park on Saturday evening the 24th winning 5-0 in the end. With goals from Brendan Nallen, (3 Minutes). Ivan Barrett, ( 8, 56 and 58 Minutes) and Pat Barrett, (83 minutes). This was a very good display given the weather conditions in which the game was played in.

    Desmond Carey many years ago put a goal kick out for a corner on a breezy day,but Sean Gaughan topped it this weekend by putting a corner at bottom end of pitch over the netting behind goal, had to be seen
