There was mixed emotions on Sunday 16th for Iorras Aontaithe when they crashed out of the F.A.I. Junior Cup 4th round at home to Super League rivals, Ballina Town , final score 4-1.
All the goals came in the second half with Anthony Mills getting the only goal for Erris. They will have to pick themselves up for their next fixture, a third round Connaught Cup clash away in Galway on next Sunday 30th January. There was smiles all round for Iorras Aontaithe U18 when they qualified for the last 16 of the F.A.I. Youth Cup with Paul Barrett getting a late winner against Barna F.C. from Galway. This game had an early morning kick-off at Kilmore Community ground ( the use of the facility for this game was very welcomed by Erris and thank you to all). Well done everyone and good luck in the next round.
