IORRAS U18 ADVANCE TO LAST 32 IN FAI YOUTH CUP
Iorras Aontaithe U18 had a superb 5.1 win over a classy Knocknacarra side from Galway in the F.A.I. Youth Cup last 64.
After an evenly matched first half that ended 1.1 Iorras pushed on after half time to run out comfortable winners with two penalties from Tom McAndrew and a goal each from Cathal Barrett, Tommy Conroy and Jason Boylan after a very good all round team performance. Coaches, Eric O’Reilly and Joe McNulty can look forward to the next game with great optimism. Its a number of years since Iorras progressed this far in the youth cup, and having gone the season unbeaten at home at u18 level, with a bit of luck, and a home draw this side can go a long way in this season competition. Well done everyone and keep up the good work.Dec 06 2010

THANKS, THEY WERE LOVELY?
The annual Christmas night on the town went off very well and those who took part had a great time. Everyone would like to thank Vinny McGrath for sponsoring the crisps and bacon bits, they were lovely, and all agreed that David Reilly played the most games during the year.
Sorry for the quality of some of the photos.
