Iorras u16 are having a fine season currently mid table in division one,well done to all the boys and looking forward to next Wednesdays clash with local rivals Bangor Hibs.
Iorras u18s are mid way through their league and have an excellent chance of making the league play-offs
Mayo u11 league kicks off saturday 5th September ,training on mondays at 5.30pm.

DUCK RACE,THE RESULT
The club held its annual fundraising Duck Race on Sunday 23rd and a big crowd turned out to see the ducks been launched from the new foot bridge.
The results were. First prize of 500 Euro went to Rachel Reilly, Glenlara. Second was Annette Kelly, Emlybeg and 100 Euro. Third was Veronica Reilly, Church Road, 100 Euro. Fourth was John Healy, Barnatra, 50 Euro. The last duck home was Gemma Casserly, Glenlara, 50 Euro.
Iorras Aontaithe/Erris United would like to thank everyone who give their support to all the Club fundraising events and congratulations to all the winners.

LEAGUE FIXTURES
This weekend has Iorras Aontaithe at home to Castlebar Celtic on Saturday evening the 22nd in the Super league with KO at 6.00pm. Result 4 nil win for Iorras with goals from Garth O’Malley (35 minutes). Pat Barrett (48 minutes). Sean Gaughan (55 minutes) and Brendan Nallan (85 minutes) a very good performance all round.
Then on Sunday 23rd Iorras Aontaithe (B) are away to Westport United (B) in the Premier Division with KO at 2.30pm.

GUESS THE CAR & GUESS THE CAKE, THE WINNERS
The winners of the guess the make,model and year of the crushed car competition was Brian Reilly, Castlenagarret, Claremorris and Rose Coyle, Bangor Erris and they guest that it was a VW Polo 1997 and each received 125 euro each which was sponsored by Kevin Kennady, Gerry Coyle and Rickie Geraghty, thank you all. The winner of the guess the weight of the Club anniversary cake was Eileen Reilly, Morahan, (7 Lb 10 onz) Both competitions were part of the Club stand at this years heritage day in Belmullet. Iorras Aontaithe/Erris United would like to thank everyone for their support and to Galway metel for providing the car and to all the club members for their combined efforts on the day

The annual Club fundraising duck race will take place on the 23rd August, at 7.00pm.

Back to league action for (A) and (B) after break
Its back to league action this weekend for the Clubs (A) and (B) sides after the weekend break with the (B) side at home to Partry Athletic on Saturday evening 8th with a 6.30 kick-off (The result, 2 all draw) and on Sunday 9th the (A) side are away to Ballyheane with a 2.30 kick-off. (This match was cancelled)
