AVOIDING THE BROOM
Iorras Aontaithe (B) rounded off their 2010 league campaign on a winning note at home to Partry Athletic on Sunday 3rd October, final score 4-0. Jason Boylan scored two with one each from Vincent McGrath and Sean O’Donnell. This win unfortunately, was not enough to avoid been relegated to Premier Division (B) for next season with a fourth from bottom finish, and thus unable to avoid the broom in the Mayo League’s reshaping of all the Division for next season with eight teams instead of ten in each division. The Management team of Paul Reilly, Harry Reilly and Seamus O’Malley and their Player Panel are wished a very constructive and reflective rethink on next years league campaign.
