IORRAS PROGRESS IN CUP THRILLER.
Iorras Aontaithe made hard work of this afternoons away tie to Claremorris in the 3rd F.A.I. Junior Cup , final score Claremorris 2 Iorras Aontaithe 2 Iorras progress 4-5 on penalty’s.
Iorras were on the back foot for the first 20 minutes of the first half but just on the stroke of half time Micky Togher had Iorras going in at the break 1-nil up with an excellent goal.Shortly into the second half Claremorris were back level and were a goal in front half way through the half but Chris Barrett put Iorras back on level terms before full time to send the tie into extra time. In the end penalty’s were called for and Kenny O’Connor sealed it for Iorras in sudden death. They will now face League Champions, Ballina Town at Carne Nash Park on the 28th November. An improvement on team performance will have to occur if they have any hope of pushing past Ballina into the open round.

MASTERS LEAGUE KICKS OFF
The Westaro Sponsored Masters League will kick off on Wednesday Night the 17th November at Milebush Park astro and Iorras Aontaithe Over 35’s will face Partry Athletic in Division one with kick-off at 8.00pm. Marin McIntyre is in charge this time round and good luck to all involved.

THE CLUB DRAW AND TEAM NEWS
This is the final few days to get you’re tickets for your chance to see Manchester United v Valencia in the Champions League clash at Old Trafford on December 7th with return flights to and from Manchester plus one nights B&B for two in a Manchester Hotel. This is a wonderful prize and your chance to see the top stars in the best club competition in the world. The second prize is a bottle of whiskey, third prize is a box of sweets and forth prize is a tin of biscuits. The draw will be held in the Broadhaven Bay Hotel on Sunday night the 21st November. Tickets are 2 Euro each or 5 Euro for a book of three. Tickets are available from Club members and Committee. Good Luck everyone and pleases support. Iorras Aontaithe U15 are drawn away to Donegal side, Kilmaccrennan in the last 64 of Ireland and the date for this clash is provisionally down for November 21st. The U16 side are drawn away to Carrick Town of Co Leitrim in the last 32 of the Connaught Shield, date provisionally set for November 28th. F.A.I. JUNIOR CUP GAME, RESCHEDULED
Due to a local bereavement the F.A.I. Junior cup game away to Claremorris, which was to be played 7th November, will now be played on next Sunday 14th November at 2.00pm. The winner of this clash will have the added comfort of dealing with Ballina Town at home on Sunday 28th November.

FAI U15 CUP OPEN DRAW.
Iorras Aontaithe U15s having overcome Ballinrobe 4.3 in the third round, have been drawn away to Cootehill Harps of Cavan or Kilmacrennan Celtic of Donegal in open draw of the F.A.I. U15 cup, fixture will take place third weekend of November, also on their travels are the Iorras Aontaithe U16s who have drawn Carrick Utd of Leitrim in the Connaught U16 shield.

IN IRISH ELITE SQUAD
Congratulations to Ryan O’Donoghue, Golden Gloves Boxing Club who has been called up to the Irish elite School of boxing for boys in preparation for the three friendly internationals coming up soon, Ryan fights at 36kg.
