Iorras Aontaithe U18 had an excellent victory over Manulla in Carnenash this evening in the Mayo U18 league.

Iorras U18, great recovery in second half display

This was a hard fought encounter against a very good Manulla side. Both sides were level 0.0 at half time, but the game opened up in the second half and Iorras, after going 1.0 in-front early in the half, had to come from 3.1 down to record a 5.3 victory in the end. Iorras began to dominate in midfield and three goals from Kyle O’Reilly and one each from Ryan Ruddy and Peter Cafferkey, propelled Iorras to victory, Gary Boylan came on in the second half for probably his last Iorras U18 appearance before his move to Sligo Rovers U19 side in the coming weeks. This was a superb show of character by the team and Iorras finished the game strongly and are two wins from two in the league.
Iorras U18s next outing is against Ballina Town at home next Thursday evening August 15th.
